Cuts for a Cause

Set your hair appointments now!  Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 is our fourth Annual Cuts for a Cause event.  Save the date and bring friends!   Adults $60, Children $30. Wash & Blowdry only $30. No need to have long hair to get a haircut,  all proceeds will go toward making wigs for needy kids with Alopecia Areata and other diseases causing hair loss. 

Cuts for a Cause 2011, With sunny skies and warm smiles, Kids Helping Kids and Salon Kiklo wrapped up another successful Cuts for a Cause in New Canaan. The Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 event was a triumph as the salon’s stylists and teens from 8 different schools raised over $2,700 in donations to buy wigs for Locks of Love, an organization which helps financially disadvantaged children who have lost their hair due to long term illness. Aside from the stylists, the event was completely run by our Kids Helping Kids team.  Additionally, the teens held a bake sale which contributed $470 to another important cause, Energizing Education, which sends children to school in Nicaragua. Many thanks to all those who helped support this community event.
