Soccer Cleats & Balls

While in Nicaragua on our service project, we played soccer with the children at Nica Photo. Many of them played barefoot.  They played on an open patch of land that consisted mainly of dirt and patches of brush.  The local farm animals are often wandering through the area which increase the kids chance of infection.  Cleats and uniforms would help them tremendously.  They are also in need of soccer balls as they are expensive.  This is their main form of fun and exercise and is essential to keeping them off the street.

Kids can talk to their school & town coaches to collect used balls, cleats, and uniforms.  We have people that travel there every other month and can deliver them to the children in need.  If you are passionate about sports, this is a great project for you!
