
Self-Love
Join KHK for a TED talk style workshop! These workshops help our Ambassadors develop and strengthen their 21st-century skills. This workshop, focused on Self-love, will be lead by Lauren Costello.
ABOUT LAUREN COSTELLO:
Lauren is a postgraduate associate at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She received her B.A. from the University of Richmond with degrees in Psychology and Classical Studies. Last summer Lauren worked as a Clinical Research Intern with the Sukhodolsky Lab at the Yale Child Study Center. At Richmond, Lauren was a research assistant in Dr. Karen Kochel’s Project YEARS study and completed a senior thesis on gender atypicality as a risk factor for peer victimization and exclusion. Additionally, she interned with her university’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and served as Chapter Director of Camp Kesem, an organization dedicated to supporting children in the Richmond area impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis. Outside of work, she likes watching SNL and volunteering as a youth mentor. Lauren works on the IES Preschool RULER project under the direction of Dr. Craig Bailey and Dr. Irem Korucu.
