Privacy Policy

Welcome to the Kids Helping Kids (“KHK”) website. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of visitors to our website (the “Site”). Outlined below is our online privacy policy for information collected through the Site. If you have questions about these policies, we encourage you to talk to us by email:

This policy outlines the principles and practices we follow in protecting your personal information.

What Does This Policy Cover?

This policy covers Kids Helping Kids and the Site, including our practices in connection with information we collect through the Site. We may from time to time link to third party websites. You should not take this as an indication that KHK endorses these third parties, or monitors their websites. While we take full responsibility for the operation of the Site, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party service providers (such as Internet Service Providers “ISPs”) or other third parties operating applications of websites to which KHK links.

Personal Information

When you request information about KHK, sign up for our newsletter, or give a donation, we require you to give us contact information (name, email, and address). We may use this information to send you information about KHK programs, events or annual fundraising appeals. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to others.

Credit Card Information: We have contracted the services of a banking partner to process credit card donations submitted online. Our banking partner’s secured server encrypts your credit card information so that it may be safely transmitted over the Web. Your credit card information will not be released by KHK or its banking party to any other party.

Cookie Technology: We may also use cookies to improve your experience with the Site. A “cookie” is an element of data that we can send to your browser when you use the Site. It is not a computer program and has no ability to read data residing on your computer or instruct it to perform any step or function. By assigning a unique data element to each visitor, the Site is able to recognize repeat users, track usage patterns and better serve you when you return at a later time. The cookie does not extract personal information.

Required Disclosure: We may also disclose your personal information in the unlikely event that we are required by law to do so, such as pursuant to a subpoena, regulatory oversight, or other legal process.

When you visit our website, we may also collect certain non-personally-identifiable information and aggregate information about you, such as the number of visits to our site and other usage pattern information. We use this information to assess the performance and use of the Site and improve the usefulness of the information and services we provide through the Site. Because this information does not personally identify you, we may use and disclose such information for any purpose permitted by law.

We do not serve advertising on the Site, nor do we use your personal information to target advertising at you on other websites.
