Project History

KHK Ambassador, Kitty, really loves animals. She shared that one of her fondest memories was of her mother taking her to see the animals at the nature center. Kitty wanted to other children to benefit from a happy memory she had so she reached out to the nature center in her town and asked them if they would give her access to the facility. Because of her initiative, 20 children from the Boys & Girls Club were able to visit with the animals and explore the grounds.
