Food Kits for Friends
Join Kids Helping Kids as we participate in a day of service. Our Youth Advisory Council will lead a lesson about how we can use problem-solving skills to address problems like hunger. We'll learn about the issue of food insecurity, how it affects kids, and work hands-on with local organization Filling In The Blanks to pack nutritious food packages for local children in need.
Project History
The Food Kits for Friends project started in 2018 when KHK partnered up with Filling in the Blanks to pack thousands of food kits on MLK Day. Now that KHK has packed on three different MLK Days we are extending this opportunity to cover more days of service. Join KHK as we work hard to help combat childhood hunger!
