GIRLS NIGHT OUT ~ March 19

KHK Ambassadors, Biyeni and Omoleye have planned some fun quality time with the 4th and 5th grade girls at the Stamford Family YMCA. We will dance, play board games and paint our nails! It’s sure to be a fun Girls Night Out! Join us if you can!

BIRTHDAY BASH ~ March 25

What’s better than celebrating your birthday? Join us on Monday, March 25th as we host a spectacular birthday party for the young residents of Inspirica, the transitional living shelter in Stamford. There will be music, party games and lots of sweet treats to eat! Let’s create a magical birthday party for our guests!

ORIENTATION MEETING ~ March 28

Do you love the idea of making a difference in the community? Do you enjoy working with children? If so, come to our orientation meeting on Thursday, March 28th.  It is a great introduction to Kids Helping Kids and will give you all the information you need to begin volunteering with us. Parents, please plan to stay for the duration of the meeting.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION ~ ongoing project

Hi. My name is Emma and I love everything about the performing arts. Since joining KHK, I have a led this project to share my love of acting with the middle school students at the Boys & Girls Club.  I am honored to have the opportunity to continue this project with the Boys & Girls Club throughout the year.

Lead ambassador, Emma, will be sharing her love of dance with the children at the Stamford Family YMCA. Every Friday after school, she will meet with the kids to teach them new choreography to today’s pop music!

Back by popular demand, KHK is hosting another dynamic Zumba class at the Italian Center on Sunday, April 7th. Tickets are on sale now- invite your friends, neighbors and family members to join you on the dance floor! No Zumba experience required! Buy your tickets today!

Love to help kids read and help with homework? Tutor and Teach ~ Mon & Wed 6:30-8PM, Sat 10-1, Mon – Thurs, 4-6pm Stamford & Bridgeport

Lead ambassador, Grace, is an advocate for pediatric cancer patients and enjoys bringing a smile to their faces! Consider making a greeting card that she will hand deliver to a child in the hospital.
