Celebrity Breakfast
KHK Breakfast Fundraiser Features:
Kids Helping Kids hosted a themed celebrity breakfast featuring former New England Patriots wide receiver Cedric Jones. He was a featured speaker talking about his time in the NFL and how it’s impacted where he is now.
Who?
Cedric Jones
, former wide receiver for the New England Patriots joined us at the celebrity breakfast. In 1982, Cedric graduated from Duke University with degrees in Political Science and History. In 2004, Cedric was inducted into the Duke University Sports Hall of Fame. In 2010, Cedric was named one of the 50 Greatest All- Time players in Duke Football History.
Upon graduation, Cedric was drafted in the third round by the New England Patriots. Cedric played nine years in the National Football League and was a member of the 1985 AFC Champion that played in Super Bowl XX. He was 10 th all-time on the Patriots reception list when he retired. Jones re-joined the NFL in 1993 as the manager of youth programs, developing programs and marketing strategies for youth education programs in all NFL cities. Since August 1994, Jones served as senior manager of club marketing, director of club marketing, director of consumer products, senior director of consumer products-on field operations and NFL coaches club, and senior director of the NFL Youth Football department.
