This is one of KHK's Signature Projects. Our volunteers work year round to collect thousands of toys and gifts to stock the shelves at KHK's Annual Gift of Giving. This project allows underserved children in our community to shop for gifts that they would like to give to others. There is just something special about getting and giving gifts around the holidays and we want every child to experience that magic!
The annual “Gift of Giving” project started in 2013 when a team of 5th grade kids, led by Ethan Lange, talked about their love of getting and giving gifts around the holidays. So the seed of this idea grew into the Annual Gift of Giving and we now collect thousands of new or gently used gifts for kids to shop for their loved ones free of charge. KHK partners with many schools and businesses to collect these gifts. In the beginning of December, we start to sort and organize the gifts and then we set up the pop up store open to the public at The Boys and Girls Club. In 2019, we had over 675 youth guests and placed over 5,000 gifts in local homes for the holidays!

If you would like to start a collection at your school or place of work please contact us and we'll explain how! All donations can be dropped off at The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, between 9 and 4pm.
We have also created a Gift of Giving Wishlist for items that we need for this year's event. We need your support to ensure that our shoppers have a wide variety of beautiful items to choose from!
Note: Please wear your KHK T-shirt at all Gift of Giving shifts. If this is your first KHK project and you do not have a T-shirt, please stop by our office to purchase one. Our office is located in the Boys & Girls Club, 347 Stillwater Avenue in Stamford.
